Founded as recently as 2013 the Caveau Maison Mollex is a modern boutique located in the village of Corbonod close to the right bank River Rhône that offers sampling of and purchasing of AOC Seyssel and Savoyard wines.

The Mollex family where vineyard owners and wine merchants in this part of Bugey from 1359 until 1931 and were instrumental in forming the wine growers association that lead to the granting of AOC status for Seyssel wines in 1942. The Caveau Maison Mollex was the brainchild of the descendants of the Mollex family who wanted to perpetuate the viticultural traditions that existed in their family for generations in a friendly and spacious environment. There are six different types of AOC Seyssel, a white wine that is made from a blend of Altesse and Molette grapes available at the Caveau Maison Mollex as well as a sparkling wine made from the same 2 grapes. Additionally there are many other Savoyard wines in red, white and rosé varieties that one can sample and learn about the history of the Caveau de Maison Mollex which is open on Monday afternoons and all day Tuesday to Saturday (closed for lunch 12:00 until 14:00).
